Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), Military Equipment Tool Solutions (METS) are the Engineering Authority (EA) for tri-service, tri-environment tool kits. Therefore METS have been tasked to design the tool kits for troops in operational theatres. This spot buy is required to provide the vehicle maintainers with the tools container to allow them to maintain and prepare the vehicles for operations within the theatre environment.
