The University of Southampton currently utilises coach and minibus services to carry staff, students and visitors to and from various locations both local to the University in Hampshire and further afield nationally. The proposed Framework Agreement will be split into two Lots as set out below: Lot 1 - Coach & Minibus Hire Services This Lot will consist of a maximum of seven suppliers and will provide a coach and minibus hire service with a driver included. During the period 01/08/17 - 31/07/18, the University spent in the region of 330,000 on coach and minibus hire. It is anticipated that usage will continue at similar levels to these figures. However, it should be noted that there would be no minimum level of business guaranteed to the Suppliers who are awarded a place on this Framework Agreement. Lot 2 - International Student Collection Services This Lot will consist of a maximum of three suppliers and will provide executive transport services for international students from major UK airports. During the period 01/08/17 - 31/07/18, the University spent in the region of 44,000 on international student collection services. It is anticipated that usage will continue at similar levels to these figures. However, it should be noted that there would be no minimum level of business guaranteed to the Suppliers who are awarded a place on this Framework Agreement.
