The ETF seeks to encourage final year undergraduates and post graduates to consider a career in teaching in FE. One approach to this is to get such students to spend some time in FE providers (colleges or independent Training Providers (ITPs)), helping with the delivery. The ETF is seeking a tenderer to organise mentored placements with FE sector providers and facilitating this by offering financial incentives to the students and operational funding to the colleges/ITPs. The successfully appointed tenderer will research and compile a list of local vacancies including part time teaching vacancies which will be made available to participants. We are seeking to award three contracts in separate regions for this work across England. The successfully appointed tenderer will be expected to work across one of the following English FE areas: North, Central and South: This ITT is for the Central area including the West Midlands, East Midlands and Eastern FE regions. Separate ITTs have been published for the North and South regions. The successfully appointed tenderers for each region will be expected to work together to share good practice.
