There is an urgent need to exploit the potential of the LEMCOCS methodology to improve confidence in the affordability of the Army Transformation Programme (ATP) and the delivery of benefits related a number of the strategic opportunities identified. To build confidence ATP Project 23 has been identified as being suitable for assessing the practicalities of using LEMCOCS data to cost a range of options and identify benefits in support of future Army plans.
