An external research agency is required to undertake research to better understand successful implementation of pre-sentence post-conviction Restorative Justice (through victim-offender conferencing). This will help inform future evidence-based advice to commissioners on developing this type of service in Probation Trusts once legislation for this comes into effect in late 2013. This is a further competition against Science and Research Group (SRG) Methods and Topics Based Framework Agreement, whose procurement was completed by the Home Office and is not open to others. The mini competition will be against the Methods and Topics Lots.
