Deep dive reviews into multi-agency safeguarding arrangements (child criminal exploitation)

From 29 September 2019 new multi-agency safeguarding partnerships were established in England, replacing Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCBs). These new partnerships are co-led by senior representatives from the Local Authority, Clinical Commissioning Group and Police. Please see Chapter 3 of the department's guidance "Working Together to Safeguard Children" for more information. DfE intend to run a procurement exercise in September/October 2020 to appoint a supplier to deliver a series of deep dive reviews on multi-agency safeguarding arrangements in local areas most affected by county lines and serious violence. The project will be jointly funded and managed by DfE and the Home Office. The reviews will examine how the new multi-agency safeguarding partners are working to safeguard children at risk of criminal exploitation and provide practical recommendations from the learning gathered to address these issues. The competition will be advertised through the Department for Education's e-procurement system, Redimo. To be considered for this opportunity, you must register on Redimo and additionally apply to become a member of the Education and Children's Social Care Dynamic Purchasing System (ECSC DPS) under category codes "ECSC05 Evaluator" and "ECSC11 Researcher". Guidance on completing these steps are available via the attachments area. You will not be invited to the competition if you are not registered on the ECSC DPS under the correct category codes.
