South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue (SYFR) commissioned structural surveys which were carried out at all training drill towers across it's estate. Each report provided a set of recommendations to be carried out to the drill towers to improve the life expectancy of the tower. These recommendations have been collated and form part of the scope of works for this project. In total SYFR have 23 drill towers all needing some form of work.
