Hertfordshire adoptive step parents that are currently on a waiting list. This will enable Hertfordshire Adoption Agency to fulfil its statutory duties. The Government’s agenda for change is promoting much more timely completion of all assessments of prospective adoptive parents. o The Provider will be required to complete all the step parent assessments currently awaiting assessment – approximately 30 assessments. o The Provider will deal with any notifications to the Court of applicants (step parents) wishing to make an application for an adoption orders. o The Provider will offer a level of service which is appropriate for the size of Hertfordshire.
