Background information on Project This scientific equipment will be housed within the National Graphene Institute at the University of Manchester. The facility has an ultra-isolated 'quiet' environment designed to be accessed by Manchester scientists along with academic and industrial research partners. The NGI facility will be used for the study of new phenomena, new materials and new devices, and will drive innovation. It will provide access to advanced instrumentation and measurement capability, and training for current and future researchers in academia and industry. 3.
