The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is exploring the option of accreditation for a new learning pathway for 'Data Analytics for Government'. The Learning Academy - Analytical Branch, the learning and development division within ONS, are currently designing a new learning pathway for Data Analytics, which will support the Government Statistical Service (GSS). As part of this pathway, the Learning Academy wishes to offer an accredited qualification at level 3. This level 3 qualification brings together modules on a range of topics covering official statistics, the statistical cycle and innovative analysis techniques (data science). It is aimed at up-skilling members of the GSS, particularly the Operational Delivery Profession, as well as being a stepping stone towards a degree level qualification.
