Training to Support the Emotional Health and Well-being of Young People

Kingston upon Hull City Council (the Authority) invites qualified and interested suppliers to tender for the provision of a framework contract for Training to Support the Emotional Health and Well-being of Young People. The Authority is conducting the procurement using the open procedure, as required by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (PCR 2015). The Authority proposes to enter into a framework Contract for a maximum period of four years with the successful Tenderer (Service Provider), no extension will be granted to this contract. The anticipated service commencement date is 4 September 2017, ending 31 July 2021. Providers will deliver a range of training provision (as per the service specification) to support the emotional health and well-being of children and young people. Training will be delivered to workers who support children and young people, rather than to children and young people themselves. The service will be divided into the following lots. Providers can bid for 1 or more lots. Lot 1. Youth Mental Health First Aid Training - providers must be able to deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Up to 6 providers will be accepted on to the framework for Lot 1. Lot 2. Mindfulness Training - providers must be able to deliver a range of Mindfulness techniques that meet the needs of schools, colleges and community groups. Up to 4 providers will be accepted on to the framework for Lot 2. The anticipated budget available for the duration of this framework is approximately 120,000.00. The Authority encourages consortia to deliver the contract for in order to provide value for money and the added value partnership working can bring. No guarantee can be provided to the successful tenderer(s) of the amount of business to be placed during the continuance of the framework.
