Installation of thermodynamic hot water systems to social housing properties

NPS Norwich Ltd, on behalf of Norwich City Council manages the maintenance and repair of the social housing property portfolio that comprises of approx. 18,100 conventional low and high rise properties with reinforced concrete stairways walkways and landings, system built properties, concrete framed high rise flats and timber framed dwellings. In order to maintain the property stock in good condition it is necessary to undertake repairs and maintenance as appropriate. The council are looking for a single supplier to complete the installation of Thermodynamic systems to an approximate value of £500,000.00 in order to provide residents with some free hot water, reduce fuel poverty, reduce their carbon footprint and increase the properties standard assessment procedure (SAP) score. It should be noted that there may be some properties with vulnerable occupants. These properties may require particular attention in that they will require works over and above the standard specification; experience in dealing with residents will be required and must be demonstrated. The specification for the required services is set out in the invitation to tender. The selected supplierwill be responsible for all aspects, the delivery of works and the provision of all necessary managerial supporting services. The works offered in this contract should be fully completed by the end of March 2018.
