The Onion Collective CIC is seeking to appoint a Contractor to provide a three storey building comprising of an art gallery, community and education workshops/studios, self-catering accommodation and a cafe, all set in a high quality public realm overlooking the marina. Planning permission was granted in July 2018 and now funding is in place by the Coastal Communities Fund and others for the scheme. The anticipated construction cost of the project is 4.68m GBP exclusive of fees and VAT. The form of contract proposed is the JCT Standard Building Contract Without Quantities 2016 and is to be executed as a Deed.
