The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) has recently developed and published new corporate and e-commerce websites. The sites are built in the WordPress environment. The e-commerce site integrates with Woo Commerce and Square. To address vulnerability and mitigate risk, the objective of this project is to put in place a medium term support and development contract with an established company with proven expertise in the WordPress web and e-commerce arena. This contract is for a period of 4 years. This product is used by NLB staff assigned to manage the website and shop content and all members of staff and general public accessing the website and/or purchasing NLB merchandise online. The selected company will enter into an agreed contract to deliver SLA based technical support of the NLB website and shop. Additionally, periodic health checks, upgrades and developments will be required, scheduled and ad-hoc, to be called upon as and when required. Support and development are likely to require an on-site presence.
