Contract value: The Marketfield Way site is identified in the Redhill Town Centre Area Action Plan (Consultation Draft January 2011) to deliver a high quality retail led regeneration scheme anchored by a leisure use.The local authority is seeking to appoint a developer to deliver this. It is envisaged that the appointed party will enter into a conditional development or joint venture agreement with either the freehold or long lease interest being transferred upon completion of the development. It will be a condition of any development agreement or conditional sale that the developer is obligate to provide a cinema with a minimum of 6 screens, enhanced retail accommodation of at least 4 000 sqm, three casual dining restaurants, 21 residential units and be of a high quality architectural and environmental design.Bidders should seek independent legal and commercial advice in relation to the potential value of the opportunity of the scheme as a whole.Estimated value excluding VAT: 4 370 000 GBP
