County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT) have two Sterile Service Departments within Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham.
CDDFT are looking to standardise equipment and the scheme will be implemented in two phases. A new machine is required to be installed as a turnkey package in Phase I (within financial year 12/13) and a new machine required to be installed as a turnkey package in Phase II (within financial year 13/14).
