The University of Portsmouth is rationalising its waste management contracts and is now seeking expressions of interest from waste management companies to provide a managed collection and appropriate disposal service for three main waste streams:
Lot1 - General Bulky Recyclable Waste. This will consist of items such as; bulky metals, pallets, mattresses, gas cylinders, catering oil, paper confidential waste, printer toners / inkjet cartridges and fat traps / sewage spills.
Lot2 - WEEE Waste. This will consist of items such as; batteries, general domestic and commercial WEEE including fridges, televisions, computers and screens, fluorescent tubes and other lights.
Lot3 - Healthcare and Clinical Waste. This will consist of items such as; dentistry, healthcare, offensive, hygiene and sharps.
