BIS is looking to develop Government’s understanding of whether intervention is necessary in the event of an economic shock and "what works" in responding to economic shocks. BIS is also seeking evidence to support and encourage better cross-border collaboration with devolved administrations to ensure robust and efficient/streamlined processes for managing UK wide shocks are in place.
