This contract is for a loading simulation system which includes 2 actuators, 1 power pack unit and 1 control unit. The loading simulation system will be used for the full-sized laboratory tests at the “Strong Floor†Structures laboratory at Warwick University. The ‘Strong Floor’ laboratory has facilities for full-sized experimental investigations. It covers an area of 9m by 23m in space and is currently fully equipped with three equal area actuators ranging from 100kN to 1000kN, data logging units, I power pack unit and 1 control unit.
