This tender is to put in place a framework agreement for the provision of Argo compatible profiling floats and sensors. The agreement will be placed with a single supplier with a minimum of 4 years experience in the supply of Argo floats, such that independent evidence of float performance collected through the international Argo community can be verified. The initial term of the agreement will be three years from date of contract signature, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. After fulfilling an initial order for 15 floats (stated minimum quantity, amount may be subject to increase pending confirmation), orders will be placed on a call-off basis over the remainder of the agreement term.
