Urgent repair works to prevent further decay of the building fabric and structure included but not limited to the following: • Roof repairs including re-roofing • Masonry repairs including repointing and creating shed off pathways • Treatment or removal of embedded steelwork • Treatment, repair and redecoration of timber elements • Treatment and repair of embedded metalwork and fixings • Vegetation removal • Treatment of render to headgear columns • Improvement of internal ventilation • Replacement of existing fan heaters • General servicing of equipment • Re-lamp existing light fittings • Upgrade emergency lighting to comply with current regulations • Service fire alarm and replace detectors on point for point basis • In-situ protections of retained fixtures and equipment
