The programme will deliver the following outcomes: - Improved educational outcomes for an estimated 380,000 – 430,000 children (to be confirmed during design) attending low cost private pre-primary and primary schools in Lagos; of which 50% girls. - Increased access at junior secondary level through increased enrolment in low cost private schools, target to be agreed during design. - Improved and well documented understanding of how to stimulate sustainable improvements in urban, pluralist education systems such as that in Lagos, implications for other States, and lessons for others.
