Automated soxhlet systems to be used for the extraction of trace levels of organic compounds/pollutants from sediments, biota and polymeric materials (typically <1 to 1000 ug/g/kg) using suitable organic solvents. Extracts to be analysed using GCMS or LCMS techniques.
