Giving a little Back

In keeping with our Corporate Vision Statement:

"To never stop learning, growing and evolving - Furthering choice, collaboration and knowledge for the public and all working with and within UK Public Services."

We believe this does not always have to involve a commercial gain; so wherever possible we are proud to contribute our expertise, data and services to not for profit and charitable projects without charge. The following are some of the more recent projects we have contributed to:

Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) funding

In our most recent project, we've teamed up with Pregnant then Screwed, an organisation dedicated to addressing the motherhood penalty and advocating for accessible, affordable childcare.

They were concerned about the looming cuts to Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) funding—a move that could widen the gender pay gap and put families at risk. That's where we stepped in with our eLobby tool.

Think of eLobby as a digital megaphone, a simple yet powerful way for these individuals to reach out directly to the decision-makers, the MPs, and MSPs, with just a few clicks. It was about turning their concern into a chorus of action, making sure every voice was not just heard but felt. While the ripple effects of our collective action are still on the horizon, the immediate response has been nothing short of inspiring. Hundreds of submissions have poured in from citizens eager to make a difference, each one a testament to the power of unity and the will to advocate for the future of our families.

Support for UK based Key Workers and Frontline Workers

We are very pleased to have helped with the promotion of the invaluable work done by Keylink; providing free Counselling and Support sessions for those working across the frontlines of our Public Services. They helped many people during this project and we were honoured to be able to play a small role in spreading the word. The service has now ceased, but their website provides some useful contact information for those needing support.

NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day

Oscar was proud and humbled to play a role in supporting NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day, organised by Pageantmaster Bruno Peek LVO OBE OPR and his team. The event was held on July 5th 2021 to celebrate and pay tribute to all those on the frontline, both supporting and caring for our nation.

NHS IT Support

Working with VIQU, a Birmingham-based IT recruiter, we have been able to help save NHS Trusts approximately 4 million pounds. VIQU used the services of Oscar to contact CEOs and CIOs or IT directors for every trust across the UK, Collingwood told Recruiter. Collingwood (VIQU MD) said - we reached out to over 2,000 people over a week-and-a-half to offer our pledge, to deliver volunteers with no accompanying fee. So far over 200 posts have been filled.
