CDHG - Integrated Claims Management and Health & Safety System

County Durham Housing Group (CDHG) was created in April 2015, as a Community Benefit Society with charitable objects, from the completion of a large scale voluntary transfer of approximately 18,400 homes from Durham County Council. The group is made up of four registered providers consisting of a Parent Organisation (CDHG), East Durham Homes, Dale and Valley Homes and Durham City Homes. The group is governed by the parent board which has over-arching responsibility for the entire group. The parent board is made up of Independents, Tenants and Council nominees which satisfy offer document commitments and constitutional requirements. CDHG has a clear focus on its vision of 'We believe in life without barriers' and its objectives of People First, Outstanding Services and Proud Communities and is committed to making early inroads in demonstrating progress in all areas. The first CDHG Corporate Plan was approved on 14 October 2015 and provides clarity and action planning around key objectives. County Durham Housing Group (CDHG) requires an Integrated Claims Management and Health and Safety System in order to meet our statutory, legislative and regulatory compliance and ensure our compliance with reporting standards such as RIDDOR and HSE regulations.
