Southwark Council is seeking to invite competitive tenders for the provision of tennis services at Burgess Park Tennis Centre. Burgess Park Tennis Centre sits within Burgess park and is the main provision of tennis within the borough. The centre consists of the following:- • 6 floodlit tennis courts • 1 unlit tennis court • Practice wall • Tennis pavilion which includes changing rooms, shower facilities public toilets, reception, small social area with cafe and kitchen The Council are looking for an operator to contribute to the development of tennis at Burgess Park and contribute to the wider health agenda within the borough. The operator shall:- • Develop a tennis pathway for all Southwark residents from junior to elite standard. • Focus on increasing participation on key target groups. • Support borough and nationwide initiatives in developing tennis. • Develop strong working relationships with the host club and key partners.
