Milton Keynes Academy is the fastest improving school in Milton Keynes. Team MKA is going from strength to strength, achieving a 90% increase in higher grades at GCSE in 2012. New principal Dara Carroll, formally of Thomas Telford School, currently the most successful school in the country, is delighted with the transformation and sees a bright future for the Academy.
The Academy currently manages the cleaning service in-house. There are currently 24 cleaning staff employed at the Academy some of which are in a final salary pension scheme; bidding companies must demonstrate how they will deal fairly with pensions on TUPE transfer.
