Ofgem’s requirement is to conduct research with domestic consumers to understand their awareness, experiences and expectations of both certified and non certified green tariffs. The research will inform Ofgem’s review of the current guidelines governing the Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme (GESCS).
We are of the view our objectives will be met through qualitative research with green tariff electricity customers (those currently on either a certified or non-certified tariff), and with those electricity consumers who are not currently on a green tariff.
