Provision of accommodation services for Bavarian Surprise

Contract action is required for the provision of a venue for the Naval Outdoor Centre Germany. The Hotel is to provide food and accommodation for 52 Naval Service personnel for 6 nights per week for 45 weeks of the year as well as a base for the centre to operate from for 52 weeks of the year on a sole occupancy basis. The facility must be able to cope with potential surge capacity of up to 68 personnel. A detailed breakdown of requirements follows: Facility MUST meet both UK and German Authority Health & Safety Regulations, Fire Regulations including, (but not limited to) adequate fire detection and escape system with in-date Certification to match the number of bed spaces within the facility. Facility must have adequate staff to undertake house keeping duties of the facility on a daily basis, including (but not limited to) provision of bedding, laundry services, cleaning and management of change over of up to 52 personnel on a weekly basis. Provision of a mix of single, double and larger capacity rooms with en suite facilities. Provision of accommodation to cater for mixed sex groups and changes of personnel being accommodated on a weekly basis. Provision of suitable office space for Authority Instructors with PC, Telephone and WLAN connectivity. Provision of suitably sized briefing rooms for up to 60 personnel on a daily basis. Provision of suitably sized Authority Instructor Briefing Rooms Provision of suitably sized shower and changing facilities. Provision of breakfast, daily packed lunches and evening meals for up to 52 personnel per sitting. Ability to provide Fresh Bedding for up to 52 personnel once per week Washing & drying facilities capable of catering for up to 65 personnel on a weekly basis. Provision of a suitably sized, electrically powered store room with shelves and securable door for up to 65 personnel on a daily basis. Provision of suitably sized parking spaces for at least 11 x large vehicles on a daily basis. Provision of a suitably equipped garden with appropriate leisure activities and BBQ facilities to cater for up to 65 personnel on a daily basis. Provision of an In-House Licensed Bar with sound system, projector screen and TV. Opening times to be agreed with Designated Officer. Provision of a suitably sized TV Room, with satellite television, DVD and VCR. Provision of Coffee and Tea facilities during day and evening for up to 65 personnel on a daily basis Provision and daily access to a safe. Qualified First Aid Assistance and adequately stocked First Aid cabinet Staff with ability to speak English with extensive knowledge of local area, potential activity areas and local contacts. Suitable WLAN Internet Access to cater for up to 52 personnel on a daily basis. Provision of suitable Public Telephone facilities for up to 52 personnel. Provision of suitable Postal Facilities for up to 52 personnel. Suitably sized wash down point for mountain bikes, boats and vehicles The requirement is likely to be for 12 months with a potential for 1 x 12 month option period giving the contractor at least 90 days notice
