UKTI has established the Venture Capital Unit as a means of identifying UK early stage companies to help promote the UK to non-UK based investors, facilitating introductions to investors with the ultimate aim of driving further investment into UK entrepreneurial activity. In order to efficiently target non-UK based investors, the Venture Capital Unit has conducted market research into the active investors in life science, technology and clean technology. The purpose of commissioning further research is to validate and augment the existing evidence base in the team. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify the top 25 venture capital and corporate venture capital investors in each of the 3 sectors and to acquire detailed information on the investments made by those 25 investors. The total price of this work is estimated to be £27,000 - £39,000 with each lot estimated at £9,000 - £13,000.
