Provision of Taxi Services as per specification. To include transporting mainly passengers, but can include transfer of pathology samples, medical records, medical equipment, drugs. All goods will be correctly packaged, as no handling of end products will be necessary.
Vehicles will vary, some may be requested for wheelchair access, child seats, booster chairs.
Where assistance is requested for drivers to assist with erection and dismantling of wheelchairs, conveying to/from the door to taxi.
Waiting time is therefore sometimes appropriate, especially when conveying a patient and member of staff, as the staff member may request the taxi to wait whilst attending the patient in their home, such that a return journey is immediately available.
