Places for People is seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced and experienced suppliers in order to supply Signs to Places for People Group.
The procurement is to be divided into three geographical Lots.
1. Scotland
2. North England
3. South England
Places for People is a registered provider of social housing. The Contracting Authority is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK.
Suppliers must be able to cover the full geographical region of the Lot for which they are applying. Signs required are on a supply only basis for standard health and safety signs. There is also a requirement for site visits for installs where signs are to be delivered on a supply and fit basis for corporate sites, sheltered housing schemes and new build housing developments.

Contract value: Places for People is a registered provider of social housing. The Contracting Authority is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK, with a stock portfolio of over 60,000 properties covering a large geographical area from Edinburgh to the Isle of White.Places for People spend approximately 120,000 GBP per annum on Signage. Some signs require logo's. Items required may include but is not restricted to the following areas.Health and Safety signs:Standard design signs such as no smoking and fire safety signs in self adhesive vinyl and rigid plastic.Scheme Signage:Examples signs include an aluminium sign the name of a shheme with a Places for People logo. Aluminium signs without a logo are also required at the schemes, with the option of being mounted on posts. Examples are saigns saying no ball games and no parking.Office Signage:Office signage includes those on podiums at the entrance to offices featuring a logo. Directional signage is required without a logo, with wording such as one way and deliveries. Signs are typically aluminium composite boards, with the option to be fitted on grey posts. Office opening times may also be required on self adhesive vinlyDevelopment Signage:These signs include all those that are required as part of a new build housing development. These include site hoardings, marketing panels, posts signs, flags, wooden boards, for sale signs, wobble boards. Wording includes phrases such as coming soon, new homes, register now. Some include pictures and descriptions of the scheme and may feature the Places for People logo or a bespoke logo designed for the DevelopmentThe length of the contract will be three years with the option to extend for a further two years.Estimated value excluding VAT: 600 000 GBP
