This Contract Notice relates to the supply, installation and maintenance of hardware, together with the decommissioning and disposal of the existing Mobile Data Terminals, for the Fire and Rescue Services of Warwickshire County Council and Northamptonshire County Council. Contracts will be for 5 years with the option to extend these for upto a further 5 years. The Authorities are looking for suitable Providers who are able to supply the following requirements:
Lot 1: Hardware: the supply only of hardware (i.e. Mobile Data Terminals (MDT), printers, screens, peripherals etc);
Lot 2: Installation and De-commissioning: the provision of a service to install new hardware into fire appliances/ de-commission, remove and safely dispose of the existing old hardware etc;
Lot 3: Maintenance and Support: the provision of ongoing maintenance and support for the installed hardware and associated fittings (e.g. aerials, wiring etc), for the contract duration.
The Authorities may award contracts for a combination of Lots, for each Lot separately or for only some Lots and each Authority may award contracts for different Lots/ combination of Lots.

Contract value: This Contract Notice relates to the supply, installation and maintenance of hardware, together with the decommissioning and disposal of the existing Mobile Data Terminals, for the Fire and Rescue Services of Warwickshire County Council and Northamptonshire County Council. Contracts will include the provision of replacement hardware and associated items, installation and support services as required anytime during the contract period.The hardware will include approximately around 70 number (indicative only) MDT's, together with screens (likely to be 1 or 2 per vehicle), potentially printers (likely to be 1 per vehicle) and other hardware identified in the tender specification.The provision of risk and safety data to fire fighters and others at an incident is a safety critical requirement for all Fire and Rescue Services.
