The aim of this project is to review existing data on iodide concentrations in environmental waters and to conduct monitoring for iodide at drinking water abstraction points to produce a more robust data set. This will aid the identification of any high iodide sources where the likelihood of iodinated disinfection by-product (DBP) formation is high.
