Southend on Sea Borough Council Highways Team is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced contractors to deliver maintenance of illuminated street furniture including new works. The works comprise of the maintenance of illuminated street furniture and the installation of new street lighting and electrical works. The estimated annual value of this contract is £580k per annum and Southend on Sea Borough Council envisages awarding this contract to a maximum of 1 provider only. The contract will be for an 18 month period from 1st April 2013 until 30th September 2014, with an option to extend for a further 6 months.
