The overall aim of the Household Goods contract as part of the Local Crisis and Prevention Fund is to deliver household goods to those in greatest need. The service elements to be provided are:
— Providing an easy to understand brochure from which Service Users can select products;
— Delivery of vouchers for household goods which are designed to protect against duplication for fraudulent purposes;
— Delivery of Household goods within 10 working days of an application being received by the Local Crisis and Prevention Fund provider;
— Fitting household goods items as needed;
— A fast track process for vulnerable service users;
— Value for money in arranging household goods;
— Value for money in the delivery of furniture packs;
— Quality products with at least a 12 month guarantee or warranty;
— Good customer care in arranging effective delivery of goods;
— Replacement of faulty goods without question.
