This invitation to tender covers the supply of six (6) alkali vapour magnetometer sensors. These sensors will be deployed as a horizontal array of total field magnetometers for near surface geophysical prospection of archaeological remains. Optionally one or more of the size sensors may be deployed above the main array for operation in vertical total field gradiometer mode. The goods supplied should be capable of providing high-quality research data to be used in the production of publications in peer-reviewed international journals in the fields of materials science and the historic environment.
