HPA has six detector support frames which each hold a Rotem PM11 detector (http://www.rotemi.co.il/text/upload/pdf2/PM-11.pdf). The detector is held on a moveable carriage which allows movement up and down and backwards and forwards. Weight of the carriage and detector is approximately 25kg. The frames are largely constructed from a proprietary frame construction material which are held together using socket bolts and non-captive nuts. This requirement is for modifications to the existing frames 1. Cost must include design, manufacture and parts as required. 2. Cost must include collection and delivery of the frames to HPA premises at Chilton (near Didcot), Oxfordshire 3. A detailed design will be submitted for approval by HPA before manufacture begins 4. Modifications are required to allow easy assembly and dismantling of the frames to allow transport in an estate type vehicle. The frames must be capable of being assembled within 5 minutes by a single person without use of specialist tools using captive fixings wherever possible. 5. Fit a counter balance weight arrangement or cantilever and gas spring with a ratio of approx 5:1 to assist the vertical movement of the carriage and detector
