The purpose of ‘Widening Public Financial Management Reform in Nepal’ is ‘to support public expenditure and financial accountability reforms in key sectors of Nepal’. The goal is ‘to improve public expenditure and financial accountability in Nepal’. The Service Provider will provide the technical services to 1) develop, improved sectoral PFM reform plan through the provision of critical technical advice and analysis, generating the space for stand-alone PFM reforms or supporting the eventual development of comprehensive and costed, PFM Reform/Action Plans in key sectors. 2) Implement Stand-alone or Sectoral PFM Reform / Action Plans: Phased support for the start of, or piloting of the implementation of stand-alone or sectoral PFM reform action plans in key sectors. Potentially including both technical and physical support (equipment and facilities).
