EH operates a devolved procurement structure whereby “buyers†across the organisation source and tender for a diverse range of works, goods and services relating to their particular function. A small centralised Procurement team is responsible for setting policy, and overseeing procurement activity to ensure compliance with EH, Central Government and EU policy requirements.We therefore require a system that will allow us to electronically manage a procurement from end to end, including: Supplier Registration Sourcing Tendering Publishing of Contract and Award notices Contract Register Centralised Administration and “Super User†facility. Training and Support Ideally the system will have potential for a contract management module to be added at a later date. The system will be externally hosted and will not impact adversely on EH existing IT architecture.
