The supply, installation and commissioning of a Universal grinding machine capable of 5 sided machining of a diverse range of components typical of the high value engineering sector. The machine must be extremely adaptable to accommodate a wide range of parts geometries, sizes and weights and must maintain high geometrical accuracies typical of the grinding process over the working volume. A direct measuring system and centrally lubricated roller guideways for permanent precision. Anticipated work-piece materials are ceramics, plain carbon steel, stainless steels, titanium and nickel alloys. Any suggestions that will aid production or method improvement are welcomed and should be included.
