Repair and maintenance services of boilers. Boiler installations. Boiler installation work. Gas appliance maintenance services. Repair and maintenance services of building installations. The services will comprise the comprehensive servicing, maintenance and replacement of domestic gas fired appliances.
The servicing and maintenance will initially be undertaken under a comprehensive 3* arrangement with new heating installations (including the installation of new boilers) undertaken separately.
The Council intends on moving towards a 5* arrangement within 12 months, which will comprise the "Total Asset Management" of domestic heating installations.
The contract term will be for an initial period of 5.5 years (66 months), extendable up to a maximum of 126 months (10.5 years), subject to performance and the delivery of services in accordance with the overall asset management strategy.
