Study, design and/ or build and /or repair/ maintain capital works on assets as part of planned programmes of work. This will include but not be limited to installation and repair of meters, potable and non potable water and waste water infrastructure (including but not limited to sewerage systems and ancillaries, water mains systems and ancillaries, sea outfalls and tunnels), potable and non potable water and waste water non infrastructure (including but not limited to service reservoirs, water towers, pumping stations, water treatment works, wastewater treatment works and sludge treatment works).
Start dates for each lot may be staggered. It is anticipated that agreements shall be signed by April 2014 to commence April 2015 (transition period) with the exception of metering which may start earlier or later than April 2015. Appointed Alliances across the lots may be required to start work during the transition period as part of an early start programme.

Contract value: Provision of works through various long term collaborative frameworks as part of Anglian Water's investment programme during AMP6 being 2015 to 2020, along with extension options during 2020 to 2030 (subject to meeting relevant criteria) The value of the AMP6 Programme is subject to agreement after its submission as part of the periodic review of prices. The AMP6 Programme will not be finalised until November 2014 in accordance with the OFWAT timetable. Interested parties may wish to note that the current investment programme (AMP5, being 2010 - 2015) includes capital investment in excess of 2 billion GBP. The proposal to be sought is to provide Anglian Water with the most advantageous offer for the delivery of part of its Capital Investment Programme. The works called for will include some or all of the following elements - appraisal/feasibility study, modelling, design, construction, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, handing over, plant performance control, monitoring and optimisation, maintenance, equipment supply and replacement, refurbishment, repair, major refurbishment, shutdown, overhaul and reinstatement, demolition, dismantling and decommissioning. Individual project packages and/or specialist work may be excluded at the discretion of Anglian Water Services. The lots will be one of four integrated delivery vehicles comprising:a) Metering;b) Repair and Maintenance (water and wastewater infrastructure capital works);c) Small Capital (water and wastewater infrastructure capital works, and water and wastewater non-infrastructure capital works);d) Medium Capital (water and wastewater infrastructure capital works, and water and wastewater non-infrastructure capital works).Bidders may apply for any of lots C or D in the following sub-categories a) Design and Studies, and/or b) Design and Construction, and/or c) Construction.
