UK Trade & Investment is seeking to commission data analysis of the 2012 wave of the BIS Small Business Survey, to investigate factors that may stop more UK Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from exporting, or limit their export actively either by exporting intermittently or by stopping exporting. Findings from the research will be used to inform future policy development relating to government support for export related business services.
