The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Buckler's Mead Academy.
Buckler's Mead is an 11-16 Academy, serving pupils of South Somerset.
The contract will commence on 2.9.2013 for a period of three years with the possibility of a two year extension.
The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering services within the Academy, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements.
It is anticipated that there will be circa 930 students at the Academy (this will be confirmed once the intake from the primaries is known). There are 125 teaching and non-teaching staff in total.
Turnover for the academic year 2011-2012 was approximately 110 000 GBP.
The client is looking for a contractor to look at ways of developing other catering opportunities within the Academy
