Contract value: New Forest District Council, Housing Services are seeking to procure maintenance and improvement services to upgrade some of the 5 200 properties owned by the Council in accordance with Decent Homes Criteria, utilising Best Value and Collaborative Working Principles.In accordance with EU Procurement Directives we are inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified contractors wishing to tender for the following Contract:Package of Works for kitchen refurbishment to various types of Council owned dwellings.The total value of the works package is estimated to be in the region of GBP 2 000 000, with an annual value of work for the financial year 2013/14 in the region of GBP 650 – GBP 700 000.It is anticipated that the contract package will commence in April 2013 and will be for a period of 3 years. It is possible that the contract may be extended by a further 2 years up to 5 years in total. This is dependent upon the satisfactory performance of the Contractor, budget availability and the Council's commitment towards its business plan objectives.Estimated value excluding VAT: Range: between 1 950 000 and 2 100 000 GBP
