407196-2012: UK-Warrington: Bins

The Council is seeking the establishment of a framework agreement for the provision of:
i) Plastic wheeled bins
ii) Metal wheeled bins
iii) Kerb side and other plastic recycling containers
iv) Recycling bags/sacks
v) Bin bags/refuse sacks
It is intended that the reverse e-auction will only be held for items i), ii) and iii) above
Interested parties wishing to participate in the tender process are invited to complete this pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ). Those parties passing the evaluation of the PQQ will be invited to submit a tender to assess the quality of the proposals and those meeting the Council's minimum thresholds for quality will be invited to participate in an electronic reverse auction.
Warrington Borough Council is leading a consortium of local authorities wishing to purchase wheeled bins and ancillaries through a range of framework agreements. The framework will be open to any local authority in the UK . The agreements will be between Warrington Borough Council and the successful bidders and will be for a four year duration. It is anticipated that there will be a requirement of approximately 900,000 wheeled bins per year of the framework.
