407888-2012: UK-Belfast: Repair, maintenance and associated services of vehicles and related equipment

The Northern Ireland Prison Service (NIPS) and Forensic Science Northern Ireland (FSNI) wish to establish a contract for the planned and unplanned maintenance and repair of vehicles and machinery operated by NIPS and FSNI to ensure they are safe and legal for use. The scope of this contract will to repair and maintain Vehicles, Plant and Machinery for the NIPS/FSNI.
Tenderers should note separate contracts exist for the supply of tyres therefore the supply of these will not form part of this contract.
This contract will be split into 12 separate Lots as detailed in the tender specification. A Contract will be awarded to the Contractor obtaining the highest scoring bid for each individual Lot resulting in the possible award of up to a maximum of 12 Contracts. A Contractor may bid for as many Lots as they wish providing they are able to meet the full contract requirements for each Lot.

Contract value: It is anticipated that this contract will commence in early to mid 2013 and will run for 3 years with 2 options to extend for a further period of up to 1 year each. The exact commencemnet date will be confirmed by the Northern Ireland Prison Service upon award of the contract.Estimated value excluding VAT: Range: between 900 000 and 1 200 000 GBP
