Situated a mile south of Craven Arms off the A49, Stokesay Castle is a wonderfully preserved example of a 13th Century fortified manor house set in picturesque countryside. The Castle attracted 39,550 visitors last year. We aim to appoint a new catering concession to run Stokesay Tea Room. A daily catering service must be provided when the Castle is open to visitors from 10.00 until half and hour before closing, from Easter or 1st April (whichever is earlier) until 31st October. In the last three full years, gross sales have been between GBP 45-48K per annum. Please contact Mark Badger at mark.badger@english-heritage.org.uk if you would like to apply. The closing date is 23rd January 2013.
