A training need exists to prepare line managers and experienced HSE inspectors to talk to bereaved families from a range of cultural and social backgrounds in difficult circumstances during investigations of fatal incidents. When investigating incidents involving a work-related death, HSE inspectors meet with bereaved families as part of the investigation to explain our role and to keep the families informed of the progress and outcome of our investigation. HSE is inviting tenders to deliver training in the above from April 2013 to March 2015, with the possibility of extension by a further year. Expressions of Interest are invited from individuals and/or organisations, who will be required to formally register their interest in this opportunity in order to receive the complete tender documentation, including any additional clarification to questions received pertaining to the details of the specification and/or procurement process. It is a condition of this procurement that submissions will only be accepted from individuals and/or organisations who have formally registered their interest in this opportunity. No bids will be accepted from anyone who fails to follow up this requirement. To register your interest and receive tender documents please email: firstname.lastname@example.org quoting “Expression of Interest – Dealing With The Bereaved Trainingâ€. Interest can be registered at anytime, however, it should be noted that the deadline for receipt of tenders is 13.00 hrs Wednesday 30 January 2013.
